Stefanis neoclassical

The neoclassical Stefani stands the cobbled street of Orestiados (number 11). It is a picturesque, three-storey building, which is estimated to have been built in the mid 19th century. From an architectural point of view it is considered to belong to the third type of traditional houses of Kastoria, those with the typical cruciform hall. A special feature of the building is the outer lining of the upper floors with wooden material, which is combined with the rotation of many windows on the first and second floor, giving the impressions of a stately character. The building is also known as house Marino and Zoe Moraitis (because of its last owners) and is incompletely reconstructed.
